EEG-based procedures

Measurement of an auditory evoked potential (potential disparity or MMN) that reveals prediction errors in brain processing. When this evoked potential is disrupted, it reports that the brain’s mechanisms for forming inferences about the environment have failed. Specialized protocols are useful for differentiating between prodromal stages of mental disorder, typical autism alterations or schizophrenia.
