Keys and tools for innovation and transfer with Biocat
Do you want to learn about mechanisms to boost the transfer of your research results? Biocat shares useful tools at the 15th B&L.
Innovation experts from Biocat will share their knowledge, programs and useful resources to boost transference from the research field
Do you want to accelerate your ability to innovate? What are the ways available for researchers to transfer knowledge and research results? In the XV Breakfast & Learn of the TECSAM Network, which will take place on Wednesday 22 February from 11:30 to 12:30h, Biocat will join us in order to learn first-hand about strategies to boost innovation and entrepreneurship from research.
This second online meeting of this year’s B&L is intended to be a support session for the entire research community to identify and have under the spotlight the existing resources in terms of transfer and innovation to move from research to the entrepreneurial field.
Thus, we will have a three voices lecture by Biocat, the dynamic agent of transfer and innovation in the field of health and life sciences in Catalonia. The conference will be held by three members of Biocat: Núria Martí, PhD and Director of Innovation and Business Development; Àuria Albacete, PhD and Senior Project Leader; and Pedro Jesús Vidal, PhD and Innovation Project Manager.
This joint initiative between Biocat and the TECSAM Network will provide researchers not only with the mechanisms available to them, but also with the tools and resources offered by Biocat that can be useful.
Keep in your calendar a catalyzing session the tech transfer and innovation options that research groups can access and that can be the engine to boost their know-how towards the market, entrepreneurship and, ultimately, society and people.
About the Breakfast & Learn
The Breakfast&Learn is a formative initiative dedicated to innovation, valorization and transfer with a special focus on mental health and technology, led by the TECSAM network with the collaboration of the Catalan mental health cluster, Cluster Salut Mental Catalunya (CSMC). These open meetings are expected to be a monthly space where knowledge is shared and synergies and networking are generated, where the speakers will be guests with expertise in the sector, including administration, research, the private sector, as well as users and families.
The meetings will focus on three major thematic areas: Tools for bringing society and research closer together (innovation, marketing, contact with the private sector, business models, spin-offs, empowerment of affected and user people…), tools for protecting research results (intellectual protection, patents, other protection models…), and tools for doing research with clinical research (ethical regulatory aspects, medical devices, digital tools, software…).
