The members of the TECSAM Network have held today the Kick-off session of the initiative and have constituted the General Assembly, one of its main governing bodies.
The members of the TECSAM Network have held today the Kick-off session of the initiative and have constituted the General Assembly, one of its main governing bodies.
27 of the 29 member groups of the New Technologies in Mental Health (TECSAM) Network have attended the Kick-Off meeting. This is the first official meeting of the TECSAM network, an initiative that brings together 29 research groups of 18 Catalan institutions in the field of technology and mental health.
During the meeting, the network coordination team has presented the objectives and action plan. The main goal of this newly created network is to generate internal and external synergies, as well as to implement valorisation and transfer strategies in order to help research impact society. Its mission is to contribute to improving the quality of life of people with mental health issuess and their families, as well as improving treatments.
On the other hand, the constitution of the General Assembly, the main governing body of the TECSAM Network (of which the 29 member groups are part), has also been constituted. In addition, during the meeting, the 29 groups have had room to briefly present themselves to the other members of the network.
