inVideogames Summit: Two days of discoveries and connections between video games and mental health
The TECSAM Network celebrated the third edition of the Technology Exploration Day with the inVideogames Summit: two days of discoveries and connections between video games and mental health. It was a free in-person event, attended by over 150 people, that explored how video games can transform the way we perceive and treat mental health.
During the day, topics such as the connection between video games and mental health, games designed to face emotional and psychological challenges were addressed, and it was analyzed how video games can be a tool for emotional expression and promoting well-being.
The event concluded with a video game design workshop for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The event was held at the Vapor Prodis (Terrassa) room (c/ del Bruc, 24 08224 Terrassa, Barcelona).

Keynote speech and interactive dialogue with expert professionals
Interactive dialogue with Andrea Fontán , David Fernández, Alex Escolà and Oriol Bartumeu , where they have analyzed both the benefits and possible risks, debunking myths and revealing realities backed by research and professional experiences.
Designing video games for mental health to address Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Headed by Júlia and Lucía, two people with ASD who work at the Fundació Prodis Terrassa , who shared their perspective and experience in order to inspire the participants in the creation of video games focused on eliminating stigma and improving promotion and prevention.
2023 edition
The TECSAM Network celebrated the second edition of the Technology Exploration Day, a face-to-face, free and open event that addressed the challenges, problems and best practices in the incorporation of technological solutions in mental health within the Catalan health and social system.
