2023 edition: Reaching the health and social system

The TECSAM Network celebrated the Technology Exploration Day, a free and open event that addressed in this second edition the challenges, problems and good practices in the incorporation of tech solutions in mental health in the Catalan health and social system.

The event included the presentation of the “e-Salut Mental Catalunya” project, an initiative of Parc Taulí to digitalize some aspects of the mental health care in the public health system, as well as a round table with experts in the field who delved into the main challenges, opportunities and some good practices to bring solutions closer to people. This event is a meeting point to promote dialogue and foster connections between all the agents in the mental health innovation ecosystem.

The event took place at UPF Barcelona School of Management (c/Balmes, 132-134, 08008 Barcelona).

Mental health leaps into the digital world: the e-Salut mental Catalunya project

Dr. Diego J. Palao, director of Mental Health at Parc Taulí and promoter of e-Salut Mental Catalunya, will explain this project consisting of the digitalization of mental health diagnosis and treatment processes.

Connecting innovation and mental health: a networking session

During the coffee break, a networking session is organized where attendees will be able to learn first-hand some disruptive technologies and projects developed by the Network's member groups.

I edition TED: Debate, challenges and co-creation of solutions in mental health

In June 2022, the TECSAM Network organized its first Technology Exploration Day, a co-creation event aimed at seeking solutions and new approaches to mental health challenges from the world of technology and innovation.

The event included the round table “Mental Health and Technology” to address the relationship between technology and mental health, the opportunities and problems found, as well as a networking session for all attendees.
