More than 1,700 young people participate in Catalonia's first youth health fair: Fes-te Salut!
The 'Fes-te Salut' fair, dedicated to health and well-being for young people in Central Catalonia, was attended by local, regional, and national institutional representatives.

On Thursday, April 24, the opening day of the Fes-te Salut fair was held at the UManresa facilities (UVic – UCC), where the results of the DESKCohort study were presented, by the epi4Health research group (UAB, UOC, UVic-UCC) which, together with TECSAM network, the Manresa City Council, and several departments of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Provincial Council of Barcelona promote this initiative.
This study reveals that 20% of adolescents in Central Catalonia engage in risky alcohol consumption. Furthermore, the normalization of substance use such as alcohol and tobacco in school settings was highlighted. This is a leading cause of health problems among young people.
