By Jordi Castells-Cuscullola, ACCIÓ accredited strategy advisor
At the Breakfast & Learn “Assistants and the future of work: understanding the impact of generative AI” , given by Jordi Castells-Cuscullola , ACCIÓ’s accredited strategy advisor, there was reflection on how #AI is transforming the way we work, generate value and redefine professional roles.
During the session, practical tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Notebookklm, Perplexity and Gamma were explored to generate presentations, create content, design slides and configure virtual assistants, leveraging the potential of #AI .
The current reality of the sector has also been contextualized : aging population, shortage of professionals and excess bureaucracy. #AI has been presented as a key tool to free up hours, improve diagnoses, reduce waiting lists and move towards a preventive and personalized model.
In addition, the Roadmap for SMEs (2025–2028) has been reflected on , with the aim of building the database, launching high-value pilot projects and scaling automations to consolidate a hybrid human-AI model that provides real and tangible results.
Finally, a question and answer session was opened in which the limits of technology were discussed, such as the digital divide, ethics, transparency and the need for explainable systems, remembering that the human criterion continues to be essential , especially in sensitive areas such as mental health.
