19 new research groups join the Network

The TECSAM Network incorporates 19 new research groups as full members. Thus, the Network already has 49 groups from 23 reference Catalan institutions.

The TECSAM Network begins a new stage with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and will continue its activity until at least 2025 

The Innovation Network for New Technologies in Mental Health (TECSAM Network) has been one of the 11 R+D+i networks recognised by the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) of the Government of Catalonia in the last call for proposals of this kind. With this recognition, the TECSAM Network obtains funding to continue supporting the transfer and valorisation of research in mental health and technology until at least 2025.  

In this new phase, which began in January 2023, the Network incorporates nineteen new research groups that join the TECSAM Network as full members. These new memberships involve the incorporation of 5 new institutions, specifically: Institut de Recerca Biomèdica de Lleida (IRBLLEIDA), Institut d’Investigació Biomèdica de Girona Dr. Josep Trueta (IDIBGI), UPF Barcelona School of Management, Fundación para la Investigación y la Docencia María Angustias Giménez (FIDMAG) and Fundació Docència i Recerca Mútua Terrassa / Hospital Universitario Mutua Terrassa. 

As a result, the TECSAM Network now has 49 member groups from 23 leading Catalan institutions. 

The adhesion of these new groups consolidates the commitment of the TECSAM Network to accelerate the transfer of all the knowledge that is developed in mental health and new technologies in Catalonia, putting itself at the service of the member groups.
